Providence woman killed in Connecticut crash

LEBANON, Conn. (WLNE) — A Providence woman was killed in a car crash in Connecticut, according to a report released Thursday.

The report said Danielle Helen Tessier, 51, was killed in a crash on Route 2 in Lebanon around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Her vehicle went off the roadway near exit 22 and struck a bridge abutment.

Tessier died on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
