Puppy rescued by RISPCA from alleged neglect celebrates 1st birthday
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A dog that was given life-saving treatment by the RISPCA celebrated their first birthday on Tuesday.
The RISPCA shared photos of Coco, who came to them emaciated and unable to walk, celebrating his birthday.
On Friday, Nov. 3, the organization got a call from Bay State Veterinary Hospital about a puppy who came in severely emaciated and covered in matted fur.
Coco’s former owner, a Cranston resident, willingly turned over custody. The RISPCA is withholding the owner’s name pending their arrest.
