Ququequechan River bike path vandalized

A brand new bike path in Fall River has already been vandalized just months after opening.

Graffiti is now covering certain parts of the Ququequechan River bike path.

The five million dollar project has not been completed yet. However, there are plans to extend it.

Many visitors are disappointed the beautiful new bike path is damaged so soon.

“I’d come walking about a month or so. Just me and my husband, walking the path, and there it was! It was like ugh, it’s been ruined already.”

“To see the graffiti that’s here, it’s absolutely disappointing. We’re finally getting some nice things in Fall River, it’s been a long time coming, and it’s just a shame.”

Police have made two arrests related to the graffiti tagging.
