Reed And Whitehouse

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse will be celebrating the opening of a new integrated care center for CODAC Behavioral Healthcare in Providence on Monday morning at 10.

CODAC Behavioral Healthcare, according to its website, is the largest and oldest nonprofit provider for Rhode Islanders struggling with opioid usage.

According to Reed’s office, the new headquarters on Royal Little Drive in the capital city will include both medical and administrative services.

The two senators worked together to secure three different federal earmarks for the creation of the headquarters, totaling $2.189 million.
