Rain and wind this morning to afternoon clouds and sunny & cool Thanksgiving

Storm system impacting our region this morning.  Triggering rain, heavy at times with a wind advisory in effect until 1pm and gale warning through noon.  The rain will taper off west to east with clouds remaining in place this afternoon with temperatures in the mid-50s.  Gradual clearing overnight in the upper-30s.  High pressure will be in control.  Sunny and cool for Thanksgiving with seasonable temperatures in the lower-50s.  A cold front pushes through the region on Friday favoring temperatures fall to the mid-40s and mid-30s on Saturday with dry conditions.  Sunday will be our transition day to our next chance for rain overnight into Monday due to an area of low pressure.  Meanwhile, stay safe on the roads and during your travels this holiday.
