Rain returns for Thursday
Another cloudy and cool day is in the cards Thursday, with showers moving in along a cold. Rain activity should pickup into the afternoon hours.
A thunderstorm is possible later Thursday night as the back edge of the cold front moves through, which will lead to gradual clearing Friday morning.
It will also be a warmer day with highs rising into the low to mid 70s. Temperatures should remain near 70 right through the weekend.
Clouds will come back into the forecast for Saturday – will call it a partly sunny day – as they stream northwards from then post-tropical Helene.
Sunday should be a bit brighter, with just high clouds leading to a veiled sun. No rain is expected until the middle of next week.
