Ramp crashes through East Walpole driver’s windshield

FOXBORO, Mass (WLNE) – Police responded to a call for an accident after a ramp crashed through an East Walpole woman’s windshield as she was driving Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on Route 95 South just before exit 8 in Foxboro where a ramp fell off the back of another moving vehicle.

The woman was uninjured and declined treatment at the scene.

Police believe the accident occurred when the ramp was “kicked up” from another vehicle sending it crashing into the 56-year-old’s Honda CRV.

Police cannot confirm what vehicle the ramp fell from at this time or a driver of the vehicle but Facebook posts from the woman’s son and daughter, claim the ramp came from a CVS Pharmacy truck. 

ABC6 attempted to reach out to CVS but have not received comment at this time.

Police are investigating the accident and searching for the vehicle.
