Raynham crash leads to one transported by medical helicopter

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE)- Police Chief James Donovan and Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita reported through the fire departments official website that police and fire responded to a crash where one pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Routh 104 North Main Street in Raynham. The driver remained on the scene while emergency services tended to the pedestrian.

The 34-year-old male pedestrian was found to be suffering from serious injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by medical helicopter.

This crash is still under investigation.
