Raynham first responders reunite with man who had heart attack while jogging

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Raynham Fire and Police Departments, as well as two Good Samaritans, reunited with a 59-year-old who was revived after suffering a heart attack while jogging.
John Hogan was jogging on King Philip Street on March 10 when he suffered the heart attack.
Bystanders Danielle Vlachos and Kelsi Korzeniowski administered CPR to Hogan, while a third bystander called 911.
Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita issued letters of commendation to the three who helped Hogan, as well as to Raynham Firefighter/Paramedic Tab Shumway, Raynham Fire Lt. Bradford Carr, Raynham Firefighter/Paramedic Salvatore Imprecia, Raynham Firefighter/Paramedic Michael Haggerty, Raynham Firefighter/Paramedic Joseph Gill and Raynham Police Officer Josh O’Brien.
Hogan thanked everyone who helped save his life that day.
“It’s amazing that people have come together to do something for someone that they don’t know personally, and that’s the magic of just being a good person and doing the right thing,” Hogan said.
