Raynham Police find ‘no credible threats’ after investigating school social media posts

RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Raynham Police Department said it found “no credible threats” after investigating social media posts involving a local school.

The department said it was contacted by the Bridgewater-Raynham School District about a “concerning social media chat.”

Police said an investigation into the chat found no threats to the school district or students, but that there would be an increased police presence at the schools for the week.

The department added that families received a letter from the district’s superintendent.
