Raynham police: No credible threats made to city middle school
RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Raynham Police Department has concluded that no credible threats have been made against the city’s middle school after a weekend investigation.
Bridgewater-Raynham school officials received an email over the weekend from a concerned parent over a potential threat to Raynham Middle School.
Detectives investigated, speaking to several parents and students.
This investigation determined that there were no credible threats to the school, and that the rumor of threats came from a student Snapchat group.
No charges or citations have been filed and there will be an increased police presence at Bridgewater-Raynham schools this week out of an abundance of caution.
