Recovery Fest 2018 at McCoy Stadium

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- A first of its kind music festival at McCoy Stadium Saturday night was aimed to bring awareness to people battling addiction.

Macklemore was just one of the musicians who rocked the stage for “Recovery Fest” at McCoy stadium.

He and other artists shared stories about their own battles with addiction.

The hope is to give those in need of help the courage to ask for it.

All of the money raised from the event will go to “Above the Noise Foundation.”

The non profit is dedicated to helping those who need help, get treatment.
