Boston to host Red Sox victory parade

BOSTON (WLNE) – Late Sunday night, the Red Sox won the World Series for the fourth time in fourteen years in a 5-1 game against the L.A. Dodgers.
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announced Monday morning that there will be a Duck Boat parade to celebrate the victory in Boston on Wednesday October 31.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Boylston Street, near Fenway Park. There is no rally at city hall scheduled.
During a press conference Monday morning, Boston Police Commissioner William Gross said that no costumes with replica firearms will be permitted at the parade.
Cars parked in restricted areas Wednesday morning will be towed beginning at 12 a.m.
Anyone attending the parade is urged to act responsibly.
