Rededication of Pilgrim Airlines memorial held in Scituate
SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — The American Legion Post 19 held a rededication ceremony for the memorial to Pilgrim Airlines Flight 458.
The plane was forced to make a forced landing in the Scituate Reservoir in February 1982 after a fire erupted in its cockpit.
During the crash one person died and 11 others had to be rescued by local and state first responders.

The memorial is located at the intersection of Plainfield Pike, Chopmist Hill Road, and Rockland Road.
