Reed, Magaziner to discuss potential cuts to Social Security
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Members of Rhode Island’s congressional delegation are marking this Tax Day as “Social Security day of action.”
Senator Jack Reed and Congressman Seth Magaziner will join Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos in Providence Tuesday morning to discuss cuts to the Social Security Administration and how it could affect more than 236,000 Rhode Islanders.
They’ll also highlight solutions they’re working on.
That press conference is at 11:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Center.
