Reed to address President Trump’s tariffs against Canada and Mexico
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Today Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed will speak out against the looming tariffs against Canada and Mexico.
Senator Reed said President Trump’s economic policies are incoherent, and raising the cost for the average American.
President Trump plans to impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico starting Tuesday.
The administration will also double the ten-percent universal tariff on China imports.
Trump said the import taxes would force other countries to crack down on illicit drug trafficking.
