Rehoboth man hospitalized after being struck by vehicle
REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Rehoboth Police Department said a man was hospitalized with “serious injuries” after being struck by a vehicle on Monday.
Police responded to Winthrop Street around 6:40 p.m. for a report of a person who was struck by a vehicle.
At the scene, police found a 53-year-old man had been hit while attempting to cross the road.
The man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with “serious non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.
The operator of the vehicle stayed on scene.
Rehoboth police are investigating the incident.
