Rehoboth Police search for suspicious person

Authorities are looking to identify a suspicious man who tried to get into a home through a locked basement door in Rehoboth Saturday night.
Police say they were called to a home on Fairview Ave at around 10 p.m. where the homeowner showed them video from their security system.
The video showed a male wearing dark pants and a tan jacket with dark hair and a mustache and beard approach the basement door carrying a pillow case.
Police say the man opens the storm door and then tries to open the door leading into the basement. The door is locked and the man starts heading towards the front of the residence before returning to his vehicle and leaving.
Police describe the vehicle as a 1998 Volvo V70 dark in color with an unknown on registration.
