Rep. Sanchez due in court for DUI case

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence State Representative Enrique Sanchez is expected in superior court today for the continuation of his DUI case.

Sanchez was arrested for suspicion of DUI in Cranston in February.

Sanchez admitted on camera to drinking and then refused take a breathalyzer test.

According to the Providence Journal, Sanchez’s attorney asked for the case to be moved from district to superior.

He’s due in court at 9:30 a.m.
