Reported break-ins at homes of Jaylen Brown’s mother, Celtics assistant coach

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Break-ins were reported at the homes of an assistant coach of the Celtics and player Jaylen Brown’s mom, according to a report from WCVB.
WCVB said that close sources have stated that a 2024 Boston Celtics championship ring was reported to be taken from the home of the assistant coach.
The theft from the Newton home of assistant coach Amile Jefferson was reported on Monday.
WCVB said that officers checked the home and confirmed there was an attempted break when they found a broken window.
Police said they thought the thieves could have thought they were breaking into his home while he was away.
Brown was in Washington, D.C., playing the Wizards.
