Revel Lounge allowed to reopen with added security following shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Providence Board of Licenses voted Wednesday to allow Revel Lounge to reopen with added security.

The club was closed following an early-morning shooting on August 28 that killed a 25-year-old man.

Board of Licenses President Dylan Conley told ABC6 as of right now, there is not enough evidence that deems Revel Lounge to be a threat to the public.

The club will reopen Thursday.
