Reward for information on dead husky found in Warwick now $2.5K

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Animal Shelter has again increased the reward for information on a husky that was found dead in a trash bag in August 2023.
The reward is now $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of any individual who is responsible for the death.
On Aug. 9 a “deceased, underweight, un-neutered” male husky was found wrapped in a sheet in a trash bag in Rocky Point Park.
The shelter said a necropsy revealed the dog died of heat stroke, and the outside temperature at the time was in the “low 80’s.”
The reward was previously $2,000.
