Rhode Island Barbecue Championship holds final day

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Barbecue Championship hosted its second and final day Sunday.
The event hosted 22 teams of professional grillers from Texas to Maine, and was also a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Sunday’s event featured the four meat contests for chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket.
The winner of the competition wins an automatic entry into the Barbecue World Championship.
