Rhode Island communities open up warming centers to combat frigid Friday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island cities and towns are making buildings available as warming centers in the face of sub-freezing Friday temperatures.
Included in communities offering public safety buildings for respite from the cold are Pawtucket, Woonsocket, Barrington and Cumberland.
Crossroads Providence and Open Doors in Pawtucket are also open.
