Rhode Island DUI Task Force will be in full force amid holiday weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island DUI Task Force will be out in full force over this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

One of the nations most celebrated holidays, St. Patrick’s Day, calls for fun festivities but also highlights the dangers of drinking and driving.

The Task Force shared that they will saturate areas of large celebration, and will be on a strict watch for impaired drivers.

The RI DUI Task will include RI State Police and local officers from cities and towns from around the state.
