Rhode Island FC signs new midfielder
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island FC said they have signed USL Championship midfielder Marc Ybarra to join the club’s roster.
The club said Ybarra played in 65 matches for Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
“With preseason just around the corner, I am excited that the talent on our roster continues to grow”, Head Coach and General Manager Khano Smith said.
Rhode Island FC will make its debut in early March 2024. The team will play its home matches at Bernie Stadium at Bryant University until the stadium at Tidewater Landing is completed.
Rhode Island FC added that an additional 250 seats will be set up at the Bernie Stadium for the season.
