Rhode Island Foundation application process open for non-profits affected by DC cuts
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Applications open Monday to apply for a portion of $3 million made available by the Rhode Island Foundation.
The foundation is providing money to non-profits affected by funding cuts from the Trump administration.
The money from the foundation will go toward food banks, health clinics, education and housing programs.
On top of the grants, the foundation is also giving $200,000 for legal assistance to impacted non-profits.
