PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Board of Elections (BOE) is urging absentee voters to mail their ballots out Friday.
The BOE is making the recommendations after changes to the first-class mail, which means that those ballots may be delivered later than in previous elections.
The deadline for those ballots is 8 p.m. Tuesday. However, voters can also bring their ballots to the elections office on Branch Avenue in Providence.
