Rhode Island Mall demolition should begin soon

By News Staff
Work on the Rhode Island Mall will soon begin.
As soon as the new owner submits all his permits, crews will begin work.
Officials are close to issuing a demolition permit, and a review by the fire marshal is pending.
The Baltimore-based MCB Real Estate Company, which owns the building, plans to tear down the two-story building in Warwick.
MCB bought the mall in June and says demolition work will take about three months.
