Rhode Island man arrested in fatal Connecticut crash
GRISWOLD, Conn. (WLNE) — Connecticut State Police said a Rhode Island man was arrested in connection with a fatal 2023 crash in Griswold, Connecticut.
30-year-old Cody Moorehead was charged with manslaughter in the second degree with a motor vehicle, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle under the influence, reckless driving, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to drive right, and failure to drive in the proper lane.
Moorehead was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle crash on June 26, 2023 that resulted in the death of the other driver.
He was issued a $500,000 bond and was turned over to the custody of the Judicial Marshals for same day arraignment.
