Rhode Island resident pleads guilty to child pornography charge
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A West Warwick resident has pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge according to United States Attorney Zachary A. Cunha.
Haley Lynn Rose, known at the time of arrest as Anthony Ninfo, 43, admitted to having more than 220 images and 30 videos of child pornography on electronic devices.
Law enforcement in New Zealand executed a search warrant in September 2020 and allegedly found an individual in Rhode Island was using a file-sharing account to distribute child pornography.
The IP address was determined to belong to Rose, according to Cunha’s office.
Federal agents executed a search of the defendant’s West Warwick home in April 2021 and seized several media devices that were found to contain approximately 220 images and 30 videos of child pornography.
Rose is scheduled to be sentenced on October 17, 2024.
