Rhode Island, Massachusetts schools prepare for solar eclipse

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Taunton public schools will delay after school activities and athletics until after the eclipse Monday.

It’s the latest district making changes to its schedule for safety reasons after Warwick announced it will dismiss its students early.

Taunton schools will also broadcast eclipse safety reminders during dismissal.

In Attleboro the district is providing all students with special eclipse viewing glasses.
