Rhode Island seeks to prove it’s ‘All That’ in new tourism campaign

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Expect a positively pompous tourism cycle this year, as the Ocean State seeks to prove it’s “All That.”

Rhode Island Commerce announced the state’s new tourism marketing campaign “All That” on Wednesday.

Officials said the intention of the campaign is to drive occupancy throughout Rhode Island, bringing revenue into communities.

The state will be showcasing its vast offerings and diversity for travelers through the campaign.

“Tourism is one of our state’s largest economic drivers,” said Governor Dan McKee. “This campaign is not only a testament to what makes Rhode Island ‘All That’ but also a testament to our community that refuses to be anything but extraordinary.”

The campaign will be featured nationally through a combination of social, digital and broadcast advertisements, per officials.

Strategies include boasting stunning visuals of the state’s iconic landmarks, landscape and coastline, in addition to picturesque scenes of the state’s outdoor activities.

“Rhode Island is ‘All That’— home to a rich history, beautifully preserved heritage sites, a culinary scene that spans from exquisite seafood to unique local delicacies, and unparalleled natural beauties,” said Secretary of Commerce Liz Tanner.
