Rhode Island service members, veterans receive valentines

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Nonprofit Valentines for Veterans said it has sent valentines to both active duty service members and veterans for Valentine’s Day.

Valentines were sent to Rhode Island National Guard troops in Kosovo, U.S. Navy personnel deployed on the USS Eisenhower,  the Joint Force Headquarters in East Greenwich, and the 143rd Airlift Wing, Rhode Island Air National Guard, based at Quonset.

Valentines were also sent to the Providence VA Medical Center and Rhode Island Veterans Home.
