Rhode Island State Police remember longtime K-9 who passed away

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police are remembering a longtime K-9 who passed away.

Officials shared a post on Monday in honor of retired K-9 Bane, who served for a decade alongside his handler, Lieutenant Sean McGehearty.

Police said, off-the-job, Bane was a very social dog and a favorite around the barracks.
