Rhode Island’s first baby of 2024 delivered safely
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Rhode Island’s first baby of 2024 arrived safe and sound early New Year’s morning.

The New England Health System said that Artemio Pineda Morillon was delivered at 2:50 a.m. on Monday at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence.
Mom, Jazmin Morillon, and dad, Artemio Pineda, of Providence, celebrated the start of 2024 by welcoming their baby boy, who weighed in at ten pounds and one ounce.
