RI Amateur Golf Tournament tees off on a week of play at Ledgemont

The 113th Rhode Island Amateur Golf Tournament began two days of medal play at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk.

Wannamoisett’s David Chatfield shot four under par 67 to take a one stroke lead in the battle for medalist honors.  Medal play ends on Tuesday with match play beginning on Wednesday.
