RI braces for weekend winter storm

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Rhode Island may receive its most significant snowfall so far this season as a winter storm bears down on the Northeast.
The National Weather Service says the state can expect to receive up to six inches of snow Saturday as the large weather system moves across the Ocean State.
The storm is expected to hit the area around lunchtime Saturday, bringing patchy fog and snow.
