RI Community Food Bank hosts Stamp Out Hunger tradition

By Stephanie Vargas
The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is encouraging people to donate food to help the hungry in their annual tradition Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carriers Food Drive.
The Rhode Island food bank along with Letter Carriers are collecting food from the community to help stop hunger.
They say people can donate by leaving a bag of non-perishable food by their mailbox on May 9.
The Letter Carrier will then pick it up and bring it to the sorting station on Corliss Street between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.
The food bank says they expect to collect 100,000 pounds of food.
