RI DEM Hiring Seasonal Workers for Summer

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – It may be January but the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) is thinking about summer.

The DEM is hoping to fill summer job positions that are open.

Some of those positions include lifeguards and park rangers. There are also a variety of other positions at Rhode Island state parks, beaches, and campgrounds.

DEM says it relies heavily on seasonal employees and is looking to fill about 400 seasonal jobs.
