PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ A volunteer organization says more than 200 elderly and disabled Rhode Island residents need help shoveling snow this week.
Serve Rhode Island is organizing volunteers to shovel snow on Thursday and Friday.
Volunteers cleared snow for over 350 residents after last week’s blizzard that brought two feet of snow to some parts of Rhode Island.
The organization says nearly all of those residents need help again and others asked for help after Monday’s storm.
People can apply to volunteer on the group’s website. Elderly and disabled people needing snow removal help can call Serve Rhode Island at 401-331-2298 or go to www.serverhodeisland.org .
