RI Nonprofit Will Deliver Books to Students to Read While at Home

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Inspiring Minds, a nonprofit that works to mentor and tutor students in the Providence area are set to deliver books to students Friday afternoon.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Raimondo encouraged and insisted students continue to read.
Unfortunately, to many Providence Public School children, the reading materials are not readily available.
This is why Inspiring Minds will be delivering 700 book bags full of books.
The Executive director, Melissa Emily, and a team of volunteers are making the deliveries, with over 500 students to receive them.
