RI State Police arrest three adults, one juvenile on sexual assault charges

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE)- Rhode Island State Police arrested three adults and one juvenile on multiple sexual assault charges.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit made the arrests on Friday for 1st degree sexual assault, 2nd degree sexual assault, simple assault, video voyeurism and conspiracy charges.

The following were arrested:

Montrell Wilson, 19, of Narragansett
Trenton Scuncio, 18, of Wakefield
Jah’quin Sekator, 18, of South Kingstown

The arrests came after a woman claimed she was both physically and sexually assaulted while she was incapacitated at a Wakefield home on March 1, 2021.

State Police said the victim was only made aware of the assaults after the suspects sent her videos of the incident.

The three men were arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and held without bail at the ACI. They are expected to be seen in court for re-arraignment on Monday.

Rhode Island State Police said the juvenile involved was sent to the Rhode Island Training School and will be seen in Family Court via tele-conference on Monday.
