UPDATE: RI State Police ID victim of fatal crash

EAST GREENWICH, R.I (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police have released the identity of the victim involved in the fatal rollover Friday morning.

Kearns Louis-Jean, 27, of Hyde Park, M.A., passed as a result of the crash that happened at about 5:30 a.m. on I-95 just north of Exit 7 in East Greenwich.

The SUV Kearns was in "went off the road and rolled over several times. Mr. Louis-Jean, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle," said Laura Meade Kirk, Director of Public Information for the Rhode Island State Police.

He was transported to Kent County Hospital where he died.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
