Richmond police arrest 73-year-old for breaking and entering

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Richmond Police Department said it arrested a 73-year-old man on Jan. 24 for breaking into a home.

Efrain Rivera, of West Warwick, was charged with breaking and entering a dwelling without the owner’s consent.

The department said that police arrested Rivera as he entered Route 95 near exit 7.

Police added that the case was an isolated incident as Rivera had “previous ties” to the home.
