RIDOH says some moringa leaf powder recalled due to salmonella contamination

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said that Africa Imports was voluntarily recalling its Organic Moringa Leaf Powder due to possible salmonella contamination.

RIDOH said the affected product is packaged in 1-kilogram boxes labeled “Organic Moringa Leaf Powder” and were all sold after June 6.

Anyone who may have bought the product should dispose of it.
