RIDOH recommends reopening swimming area in Chepachet

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said it was recommending reopening the swimming area at the George Washington Campground in Chepachet for swimming because bacteria counts returned to safe levels. 

RIDOH said it monitors and reviews beach water quality through Labor Day.
