RIDOH recommends Scituate pond be closed to swimming

SCITUATE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) has recommended that the swimming area at Hope Community Service Pond in Scituate be closed due to high bacteria counts.

RIDOH plans to continue to monitor and review beach water quality through Labor Day.
