RIDOH reports 152 new cases, 1 new death

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 152 new cases and 1 new death over the weekend.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 151,440.

Rhode Island reported one additional death, bringing the state’s total to 2,705.

There are currently 72 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 17 of these patients are in the ICU and 10 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 636,235 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 534,671 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
