RIDOH reports 982 new cases and 22 deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 982 positive cases and 22 deaths related to COVID-19 on Tuesday.

The new numbers bring the state’s total to 67,067 cases and 1,470 deaths.

Rhode Island saw a 9.4% positive from the prior day and 8.9% positive for the week.

444 people are currently hospitalized with 25 requiring a ventilator.
